The Good Toy Guide is a National Association of Toy and Leisure Libraries (NATLL) publication and each year they run The Good Toy Awards which are the most prestigious toy awards in the UK.
Rigorous play-testing is carried out by children and their parents and even childcare professionals and teachers this testing is carried out in both homes and schools throughout the country. All toys and games are awarded marks out of 10 on a wide range of criteria such as skill development, play value, safety and benefits for those with special needs.
